I went to school with Jan Banks, Judson School, in Scottsdale, AZ in 1972. Ernie Banks frequented our school with his wife. I would love to find out how Jan and the entire Bank's family is doing! If someone can assist I would greatly appreciate it!

I don't know anything about his daughter but I went to school with his son, Shawn. We were best friends. We use to go swimming in his pool in Chula Vista all summer long. I remember how chocked I was when I found out who Shawn's father was. I was soooo surprised. I saw all of his awards in the living room. Anyway, I remember then when I was in trouble and didn't have a place to go I called Ernie, long distance and he offered me a place to stay until I would be old enough to get control of my life. I didn't go because I didn't wnat to trouble him. But the feeling that he was willing to help me and had not forgotten meeting me made me so happy. I never wanted to hurt his family or him and that is why I never went to stay with him. It was probably the stupidest thing that I have ever done in my life. But that is youth, isn't it. If anyone knows how to contact him I would love to know. I ahve tried to find them for many years now after I lost their number, which happened to be unlisted. They were really good people. I would love to talk to Shawn and Ernie again someday. I never met Shawn's sister. Sorry to not be of help. But last I heard they lived in Chula Vista.

The last time I saw Jan was at my fathers funeral in 1979 Iwent to Judson too and he was a pitching coach for the Cubs. I did hear that her mother passed away and I believe she is living in California. Sorry that is all the info I have.
